Signs on the front in Swansea saying that people need to avoid the prom as there is too much sand are apparently a prank.
The signs which look like official council notices state that the sand will be removed eventually but that people with prams should give the area a miss til it's cleared.
Some comedian has decided that with the sand that is regularly blown up on to the foreshore pavements and road by stormy weather has become a problem.
The hard pressed council however said that they make frequent inspections and in face have removed over fifty tonnes of sand this year.
