As a result of recent storms five bronze age footprints have been revealed at Port Eynon.
The severe weather resulted in an ancient mudbank being exposed for the first time in thousands of years.
Embedded there are the footprints that would have been made in ancient peat before gradually being covered over.
Whilst the footprints have yet to be officially dated they are estimated to have been made between 2300 BC and 700BC.
The weather has been responsible for the exposing of other items of historical interest including a ships wheel discovered in Swansea Bay.
