Plans to create a Welsh big apple in Swansea with a Vetch Field central park?
A suugestion has been made to see the old Swansea Football club home - The Vetch Field turned in to a community park area for meeting and enjoying by all.
Swansea City Council's intention is to see the area developed to include social housing.
It is probably a little difficult to see the similarities with one of the most iconic cities in the world but everyone needs to start somewhere.
We already have a sky scraper, a shoreline and a city centre that regularly gets jammed solid with traffic!
So we are half way there!
In addition of course Dylan Thomas liked a drink in both places.
I think that a campaign to get Swansea twinned with New York is the answer !
