Did the storms that hit Swansea erode the sand from the popular beaches?
The beach at Caswell Bay an ever popular destination for visitors to Swansea and Gower seems to be disappearing.
It seems that a combination of things are being blamed.
Firstly the really poor weather that we experienced resulted in some abnormal tide conditions that did cause some erosion.
However some residents feel that some of the work that the council did to rescue matters only made things worse.
This has resulted in a lot of boulders and pebbles but a lot less of the golden sand that visitors come to enjoy.
The council are adamant that their actions have not caused things to deteriorate.
We will have to see what happens over the course of the summer.
