This week started out well, met with Trainer BMW first thing Monday morning to arrange the networking event. The venue is huge and the guys there were more than willing to help us out! They have got some very nice new BMW's in the showroom and will be offering some amazing deals to all who attend on the night! They also kindly donated a mini to give away as a prize at the event too ( ok it's a model! )

Tuesday saw me flying up to Bridgend for a meeting with Jan from The Best Of Bridgend to see her latest edition of The Little Blue Book. Then it was back to Swansea to meet with Amanda from Lush Model Agency who is supplying 6 promotional staff for our networking night...thanks Amanda. The Swansea Grand Theatre was the next stop on my travels, Sarah there gave us all of the information we needed to get their events listed on the website as well as giving us some tickets to give away on our networking night.

Wednesday came and so did bad news, my car decided to break down on me so I had to take it into Gwyn and the guys at Panda Motors in Swansea. That afternoon I had a meeting with Simon from Real Radio who had come up with some very good ideas for our radio adverts, tune into Real Radio from April 6th to hear The Best Of Swansea on the airwaves across the area. I had a meeting with The Learning Partnership Wales to get their feature on the site as well as giving me a fantastic smokey joe sandwich! Wednesday evening I met up with Adam George from In House Entertainments who is going to be providing some close up magic at the networking event too.....I hope he does the trick where he changes £5 notes into £20's!

Thursday I managed to get the member offers to work on the website, so check them out and save yourself some money today! Ben from Beach Software also sent me through the information for his feature as well as Catherine fom Affirmation sent me details of her upcoming wedding fayres. Don't forget it is FREE to list your events on The Best Of Swansea.

Friday was another sunny day and I was supposed to be away on a course, but the parts from the manufacturer had not arrived for my car, which meant I was on foot and unable to go anywhere! After walking to the office I realised I needed to go to Bridgend to collect something. I managed to borrow The Best Of Neath Mini ( thanks Nigel ) and before long was on the road again!

Have a good weekend......come on Wales!

Matthew
