Morriston Hospital League of Friends celebrates seventy years of support for the famous Swansea hospital. The League originally established during World War Two had the remit of entertaining patients many of whom we're injured troops. This changed as the League provided support for the medical staff including moving patients between wards. Now of course it is better known as an organisation that provides very valuable local fund raising. As such in addition to donating vital medical equipment the organisation has also built and paid for a chapel and overnight accomodation for visiting relatives. Many happy returns from all of Swansea!
