Very nice pub serving excellent food from a limited range which I believe is more than adequate for most people to choose from.<br>The Bulmer Fox has been refurbished recently to a really high standard, as well as excellent food the team there go out of there way to make you feel welcome.<br>They have recently changed their opening hours which are now 12 to 4.30 daily ( not really sure why) which is why the 4 stars that said I would highly recommend the Bulmer Fox

Have had breakfast here on a number of occasions and I would definetly recommended it. We have just tried the evening meal and it was amazing. The food was exciting and different from normal chain restaurants and we couldn't fault the taste! We both had different choices and both were as good as each other. Staff were really friendly and the restaurant had a good atmosphere.<br>Definetly worth a visit.

This is a lovely little restaurant where the staff are welcoming and attentive without being over bearing. Food is very well prepared. The fixed price 3 or 2 course meals are a good idea. I would suggest booking is essential and a visit would not be disappointing.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday. We were meeting my brother who lives in Sudbury. The welcome for the staff was very friendly and professional. The restaurant is very comfortable.
The restaurant says that all their food was home made! It certainly seemed to be! The meal was very tasty and really great quality. Even the rolls were clearly home made, very rustic, and tasty.
They had a good selection of wine, and we bought a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc which washed the fish down nicely!
I definitely recommend this restaurant- not cheap but great value if you enjoy a fine dining experience.

It was a late booking & due to the decent weather, we opted for a table in the walled garden which was a lovely setting. The service was prompt but unrushed. All of the staff were very friendly & professional. The food choice and quality was excellent, 3 starters, 3 mains, 3 desserts and a choice of 'specials'. It's not the cheapest place to eat but was right for the experience that we had both with food quality & Service. Would highly recommend and maybe return again during our 5 night stay in Sudbury. Thank you very much 👍

Beautiful setting with a warm courtyard out the back which was even warm enough to sit in in October. Very accommodating of 2 toddlers despite having the feel of a more adults only restaurant. The food was so tasty... French inspired and so authentic. Had a tartaflette which was full of brie and bacon, absolutely delicious. So many lovely looking options on the menu, it was hard to choose. Definitely be back again

Recently re-opened (this week I think) The Fox in Bulmer Tye has new management, style, beers and menu. We visited early on a Saturday evening, they were fully booked but squeezed us in. All the staff were really welcoming and friendly, great job. The Brewshed Best Bitter was lovely, as was the Scotch egg starter, brilliant. The Pork schnitzel with fries, was a fair effort, but if compared to the schnitzel at the Hare and Hounds, Leavenheath, wasn't that good. Oh, the complimentary bread ... was lovely. Overall, has to be 5 stars.
