Visited the Fox at Bulmer for Sunday lunch . It was very crowded and we waited a long time to be served. I ordered skate goujons for a starter . When I started to eat it it reeked of ammonia and was inedible . I sent it back and they agreed it was awful and offered me another starter and a drink . I refused another starter ,I’m worried now about how old that fish was in the starter.Not impressed

Came for dinner, the service was lovely and quick but the food was disappointing. The squid came and looked lovely however there was so much batter around the squid that it tasted so fried and fatty it ruined it. I could not finish the meal as it made me feel sick unfortunately.

A really lovely country pub in high Suffolk with a warm friendly welcome, really good local ale (Brewshed pale ale from Bury St Edmunds), a great beer garden with children’s play area and plenty more to commend it. They’ve got a super pizza oven in the large garden and we found that the pizzas were excellent.

Popped to The Crown as we heard their new outside pizza oven is now open. Lovely welcome at the garden bar, ordered drinks and pizza. The pizza was amazing, really lovely and expertly cooked by Grace. A great place for families with children, lots of space for little ones to run around and have fun on the play equipment in a safe environment. Also a lovely stop off for dog walkers. We’ll worth a visit!

Needed new glasses and had some issues with my eyes (watery, itchy, sometimes painful) so made an appointment. Suggested solution to my problems works and I am very pleased! New glasses were ready for collection in 3 weeks as promised. All the staff very helpful, professional and friendly. I think the option of free refill of glass cleaning solution is a really nice touch and I'm sure customers appreciate it. All in all, very pleased.

We have recently moved to Sudbury and are still finding our way around. Went to the market today and stopped off at Davids for an early lunch/brunch We had the eggs benedict and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs both of which were delicious and the coffee was great. We will definitely be back as we want to try some of the cakes on display!
