Gorgeous village pub, beautiful setting. Friendly, warm and welcoming.
We had lunch and the roast pork sandwiches were melt in the mouth delicious.
From the warm welcome in arrival to the attentive lovely waitress, service was impeccable.
Beyond highly recommend.

We went with friends on pie Wednesday. Three choices of delicious pies, with a drink. The main menu had some excellent dishes, so we were spoiled for choice. The pies went down a treat however. Service was great and staff were friendly. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and huge beer garden, so it’s great on chilly days with the fire, or warmer days outside. We will definitely be back, it’s well worth the country drive to get there.

Called in by chance. The staff were very accommodating and all 6 of our group had a Good Friday fill up. The food was beyond excellent.
Cooked to perfection and very tasty..

We visited for lunch.
Absolutely outstanding.
The staff were excellent, friendly and professional, knowledgeable.
The food was superb. I had the starter of salmon terrine which was delicious.
My partner had the risotto which was excellent too, maybe a little light on parmesan.
We shared a dessert of chocolate brownie which was melt in the mouth.
We will definitely be returning and will recommend.
I can imagine in the evening that you would need to book.

Lovely pub, lovely food, lovely outside space, lovely location, dog friendly , only draw back Gents toilets were filthy and disgusting & had not been cleaned for weeks, I have to say that they are the worst I have ever seen in a Pub, in all my days, and I am coming up to 75 reported to the Landlady, before we left, let's hope if you visit this pub in the future this has been rectified visit date 30 April 26

We have been to The Crown for Sunday lunch before but it keeps getting better and better. This time we brought with us friends who were here for the weekend. Their review…..best roast dinner in a restaurant EVER. I concur. Well done to the whole team you smashed it.

My wife and I went for breakfast. On the website they claim they do gluten free options, that is why we went there.
On arrival when we enquired and after some initial confusion we established the limit of the gluten free offering was frozen gf bread that had been in the freezer for months. Mmmmm……. Could do better.
Though we had two cooked breakfasts my wife had to forgo the sausages which in most supermarkets gf sausages are widely available. This suggests they really do not understand which if your running a catering establishment is shocking

Absolutely fantastic. The staff are so helpful polite and know their menu!
Francessca has re-created the ‘Reggie’s Melt’ A delightful Panini—Cajun chicken, sun dried tomatoes, pesto, onion and cheese . Literally Melts in your mouth. Also on the lunch menu was homemade quiche by Francessca again served with crisps and a very tasty salad. So delicious.
Choice of tasty sandwiches are also available together with the best coffee in town!

I went into David's earlier today and had a sandwich. A Reggie's Melt off the menu. It was delicious but also the most memorable flavour. If you want a treat get yourself one of these!
