A great pub in a good location with a huge garden and some playspace for the kids and dogs allowed inside as well.
The food is superb with generous helpings. There were six of us meeting up for a Sunday lunch and between us we had roast beef (done to your taste whether pink or well done), roast pork and chicken. Huge Yorkshire puddings and a great selection of vegetables to boot. We had to make some room for a pudding though which the others had whilst I had some lovely cheeses (which had been allowed to come to room temperature as I ordered it right at the start of the meal). Good service throughout as well.

Attending the Sudbury Business Expo was really helpful as it enabled me to network with a number of different stall holders and make the public aware of our offer at Thomas Gainsborough 6th Form .

What another fantastic expo organised by Penny. It’s such a pleasure to be involved, not only from a networking perspective, but also facilitating opportunities for my sixth form students to integrate with local, national and international businesses. Love it!
Thanks again for incorporating TGS into the world of business!

Great show and lovely to have something local on our doorstep. Bar is reasonable priced with a good selection.
The seats are uncomfortable and feel really squashed in but not much can be done as it's a very small theatre

Lovely friendly theatre. Very high standard production! First time visiting so wasn't sure what to expect, especially as was advertised as an amateur production. We watched Miss Pettigrew Lives for a day. In my view it was even better than the film version that we had watched!

My friend & I had a fabulous 3 courses here last night. It's been a while since I lasted visited, but the interior has had a lovely refurbishment and feels spacious but cosy at the same time.
My friend is gluten-free, but there was a great choice for her on the menu. For starters she had goats cheese fritters & I had cauliflower fritters both with onion chutney, which were fresh & delicious. We both had the same for mains ( which is very unusual!) - Mushroom Gnocchi, which was very moreish and was gone in minutes! ( no photo if that as it was gone so quickly!!) As we still had room for pudding, we had Lemon Curd rice pudding & Creme Brulee which were the perfect finish to our meal. The service both waitresses was attentive, friendly and relaxed. ( name check to Fiona!) I definitely won't leave it so long before I visit again! Thank you.
