We drove past this and thought we’d pop in for dinner. It was absolutely delicious food and decent portions! Great selection of interesting fish and veggie options too. Very quiet but it was a random Wednesday evening, so not surprising. Helpful staff and a lovely setup. We really enjoyed it and will be back again soon!

From start to finish the experience was amazing.
I came with my mum and dad and they both said “this is the best meal we’ve had for ages”.
For me also, I haven’t had a steak cooked with such perfection like that for years, the last time I had a steak like that was in the centre of London about 12 years ago.
Considering there was only one chef, well, hats off to him!
Thank you to all the staff who were brilliant;
I mean, even the water tasted good!

Have had many wonderful meals at this lovely country pub and today’s Sunday Lunch was no exception. A huge thank you to Oscar and his team, we always receive a very warm welcome and my favourite table by the fire was fully laid when we arrived. The food was fantastic too. We had a lovely time with family and old friends we haven’t seen for a while. Just perfect thank you again Oscar.
