Great food, drinks and service. We visited with friends and enjoyed our meal. It was lovely weather so we sat outside. We are return customers and return regularly as we can not fault the Fox!

My husband and I came here yesterday for Sunday lunch, we both had roast beef. Very generous portion of beautiful cooked (pink) beef. It looked hand carved lovely thick slices of proper beef not the tissue paper thing stuff you often get. Huge Yorkie and lovely roast spuds. We had a huge dish of vegetables including red cabbage and cauliflower cheese, neither of which I am a fan of but I thought there were plenty of other vegetables so no problem. I tried a little bit of both the cabbage and cauliflower and I have to say I went back for more. I think I might be converted. We were also given extra gravy in a little jug, perfect we do love our gravy. My husband is a bit of a picky eater and he cleared his plate. There were other people in the restaurant and from where we were sitting we could see their food coming out. Have to say it all looked really good I can honestly say ours was delicious and we have made plans to visit again. No room for pudding this time unfortunately but next time hopefully.

Just had a drink and some hot snacks here and can only rate the pub and especially the staff as amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel like valued customers. The food as ever, was excellent. Well done Bulmer Fox, we will be back!

Had a lovely meal here today. They managed to accommodate 7 of us last minute. Great choice of starters and mains. The sweet chilli beef was very nice, not too hot but still great flavour. The flat iron steak was very nice and for £18 was great value. The chicken burger looked very tasty as well as the haddock. Everyone throughly enjoyed their meal. Generous portions without being overwhelming and unachievable. Excellent choice of drinks and wine list. The service was very efficient and the waitresses were polite and friendly. My only criticism is the dessert menu. Although had some nice choices, was not to my palette. Some basics such as a brownie, chocolate fondant and cheesecake would have definitely secured us all another course. The pub also has air conditioning which was very well received in the current heatwave. Will be returning soon! Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Just had another fantastic roast, everything was dekious. Great selection of veg and a large portion. Fresh and gone cooked. I've finally found somewhere that does an amazing home cooked roast, I'm fussy as I do a good roast, and am usually disappointed when I go out. But I certainly can't fault anything. Delicious ❤️Thankyou

We were recommended The Fox because of the local beers that my partner could try. We all really enjoyed the food and he definitely enjoyed the beer. He came away with a selection to try at home. He had a really good steak too. Just the way he likes them. One of the party had a risotto that she enjoyed

Had a wonderful evening with my friend. Fiona was amazing and gave very enthusiastic and considerate service. Myself and my friend both at the same time said ‘her service is amazing’ which is why I’m writing my first ever review. Thank you Fiona for making our night. Burger and Pint for £16 is a bargain!!

Mid week Dinner with friends.
Lovely evening and the food was amazing. We all went for steak off the menu and it we all agreed it was cooked perfectly, good quality & very tasty.
The service was excellent too .
Will definitely visit again soon.
