Can't speak more positively about this place. Great family atmosphere, great garden, bar both inside and out, pizza outside, great food and a lovely setting. It just seems to have everything.<br>On a side note, and this is not a dig, more a concern. A few times being there for 4 hours or so, the lovely dog is tied next to the fireplace on a small bed. Doesn't have the freedom to go outside and seems to be ignored a lot for hours on end. Just a few weeks ago i was there for at least 5 hours enjoying drinks outside and then later a meal inside, and he was only taken outside for all of about 3 minutes. If I'm wrong I apologise but that's what I saw.

Woodpeckers have been a second family to us since our daughter joined at 8 months old, their care, knowledge and passion is clearly seen throughout all their rooms and their nursery environment. The experiences they offer are second to none, from Garden centre trips, sports, Library visits and raising money for charity. Our daughter has flourished in your care and with only one week remaining before she leaves for school, we are very emotional about the goodbye but thankfully will be back in January when our little boy starts. Not only have you taught our daughter so much in her time with you, but she is also very kind, caring and empathetic and that has come from all the support and love you all show. Huge thank you to you all, keep doing what you're doing because you are amazing!

The staff at this nursery are truly incredible - they are inspiring, nurturing, patient, understanding, helpful and all round awesome. Choosing a nursery is daunting but as soon as I walked in to Woodpecker’s I knew this is where my daughter would thrive. The team build genuine connections with your children, they go out on trips, they create these amazing games and activities and they help your child in any way they need it. I’m grateful for them every day

Nice building in a nice setting. There is a nice lawn at the back with a play area. But (and perhaps only to me is this a But) it is definitely a restaurant with a bar rather than a pub that serves food

Brilliant location, food is a limited menu in my opinion so not everyone ate in our party, but still excellent quality food, i would like to emphasise that, those of use that ate had 0 complaints about, and brilliant atmosphere. I only give 4 stars as they don't except cash and if your paying by phone the mobile signal is hit and miss.<br>Still worth visiting and a lovely garden in the back.<br>P.s, there is a stream at the back so excellent place to bike to or walk
