Called in this morning as unfortunately had damaged my glasses with a lens fallen out and frame twisted. Very friendly greeting when I walked in and only a couple of minutes wait until the optician kindly managed to fix the glasses for me. Was not sure if they could have been fixed and own opticians are out of the area so was delighted with their help. Very efficient, professional and friendly staff and would highly recommend them.

I had a really great experience at the Opticians after moving from another store in town. From the start, the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. Greg was professional and everything was explained clearly without any pressure.<br><br>A special shoutout to Vickie, who was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole process feel easy. It really made a difference having someone friendly and helpful guide me through the options.<br><br>Highly recommend this place if you’re after a more personal and relaxed experience—especially if you’ve had a stressful time elsewhere!

Having gone for just a routine eye test Holly referred me to Colchester Primary Care with a retinal tear. Within 1.5 hours I was called and asked to come in at 2.45pm. I was there for 5 hours where the care I received was fantastic.<br><br>Having had multiple photos of my eyes taken the final diagnosis was a detached retina. Having stabilised my eye the operation is scheduled for Monday 24th March.<br><br>Without the excellent service received from Wardale Williams and especially Holly this would have gone unnoticed by me until it was possibly too late.<br><br>The staff there are amazing too and have no issues recommending the whole team.<br><br>Thank you so much

For more than twenty-five years, I have been an extremely satisfied customer of Wardale Williams, where staff also discovered and then supported me through several serious eye conditions. Consequently, when I recently had reason to become very concerned about my eye-health again, I immediately telephoned for advice and Graham quickly arranged an appointment for me.<br>Fortunately, after conducting a really thorough examination, Holly was able to reassure me that nothing sinister had occurred. She even kindly took the time to explain the details on the retinal images to me, as she compared the new scans to those kept on record from my previous, regular check-ups.<br>As expected, there was some age-related visual deterioration, which made me decide to purchase new glasses and, subsequently, both Graham and Vicky contributed to assisting me in selecting appropriate new frames.<br>Although I have named those who specifically helped me on this occasion, over the years I must have met every employee, so I can confirm that EVERY member of the Sudbury staff is equally efficient, friendly and kind. Everyone on the team always provides a fantastic service, so I can highly recommend Wardale Williams!
