As always, I have to say how positive and pleasant my latest visits to Wardale Williams have been, from the eye test, excellently and cheerfully performed by Greg, who explained everything to me very well, on to the dispensing process with Kirsty, who was also very polite and friendly, as was Vickie, who, in an equally polite and friendly manner, dealt with my collection of my glasses, including finely adjusting them so their fit was just right on my face. Thank you very much to you all, and keep up the good work, which I highly recommend to anyone in need of it. :-)

The same friendly, efficient care I’ve experienced at your Haverhill and Halstead premises. But with the added bonus of wheelchair access ability. (The only difficulty was the pavement sign at the entry door).

I have been a client at Wardale & Williams for the past 30 years, I cannot recommend them highly enough. The service is superb and personalised to each individual client. I have complex eye problems and have every confidence in their ability and willingness to work with be to find acceptable solutions.
The range of frames they carry is next to none and their dispensing opticians are professional, helpful and honest - an essential quality when you are choosing new frames.

I was overdue an eye test and chose Wardale Williams in Sudbury through recommendation. The service I received was welcoming, friendly, relaxed and professional. My thanks to Joanna for her time spent on a careful and forensic eye examination and the resulting excellent prescription, Kirsty for finding the perfect frames and Vicki for fitting them with a detailed explanation of the prescription. The reception staff were also very helpful and attentive. I have no hesitations whatsoever in highly recommending the services of Wardale Williams.

We realise that our appointments were on a Friday afternoon, but we found everyone at your Sudbury branch to be cheery and helpful and they were obviously a very happy team together. Your optician, Joanne Williams was super - a wonderful personality and so helpful and knowledgeable. We were recommended to you by 'Paul' who worked for you fitting specs years ago and now lives and works in West Mersea where we used to work!

I attended for my annual eye test and was warmly received by the reception staff. Holly Rowlings carried out my eye assessment and I was delighted to learn that there was virtually no difference between this year and last. I have been having an ongoing series of injections in my left eye because of my Age-related Macular Degeneration and following a retinal scan, Holly took me through the results in detail and reassured me that the injections were working and that my right eye seemed pretty stable. I've had a large number of eye tests during my life but I have to say that this was one of the most thorough and pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend Wardale Williams in general and Holly Rowlings in particular to friends.

After getting my eyes tested at Specsavers I didn't really like the frames on offer. So we decided on a whim to try Wardale Williams.
The staff couldn't be more helpful. A lovely lady called Kirsty helped me with the frames and lenses. Spending time to explain everything and to make sure the measurements were okay. There were two long distance frames I liked and her colleague helpfully told us the second would be half price which clinched it for me to buy both - plus a pair of reading glasses.
A couple of weeks later I went to collect the glasses and another lovely lady, Vicky, helped me to adjust the tightness, making sure they all worked fine and gave me some complimentary lense spray and said I could come back anytime to have them adjusted or for a lense spray refill.
The atmosphere in the shop was friendly, warm, with no pressure and I was most comfortable with every aspect of the place.
I would recommend for anyone who wants great service, a wonderful atmosphere, great products and staff that care about their jobs.

Wardale and Williams have always been efficient, professional and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and no pressure to purchase glasses. Vicky has been more than helpful and immensely patient with me helping on several occasions to make my glasses fit..she persevered and I am more than happy and appreciative of her help.
