Abbie Thoms from Polyspiral is one of the most inspiring, consummately dedicated professional and unique designer and website developers I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. For a start, she effortlessly breaks things down in layman's terms despite the fact she is clearly an uber tech-wizard. This makes communication so easy and helps her to understand both your short term and long term aims, if you haven't thought long term, she will help you to do so to ensure you save on needless reinvestment. There isn't anyone better at getting to know you, deciphering your requirements, establishing your target audiences, how best to capture them and making it all work not just well, but exceptionally well, designing logos and websites to give you back the control to update them or add to them, her attention to detail is amazing chemistry at work. Her site security checks and maintenance are a godsend too, so often overlooked! She will also help with all your Social Media needs, often professionally tutors business workshops in this area, in short an all round design, marketing strategy and website development Guru, and also a pleasure and joy to deal with as a person, I cannot commend her highly enough!

I have worked with Abbie for several years now on various web projects where I built the functionality of the site and Abbie provided the front end design and as I like to put it, "sprinkled Pixie Dust" on my work to either meet the agreed design or sort out graphic problems on sites.
Abbie also has Project Management skills, marketing skills and a deep knowledge of Social Networking which is essential for successful branding of businesses.
I cannot recommend Abbie's work too highly.

Having been recommended to Abbie at PolySpiral I had quite a challenging brief for a new business logo design. I have a business name that leads to a very obvious logo but I wanted to avoid the obvious and set Abbie the challenge of designing a logo that reflected what I did, my own personal background and obviously making it visually appealing and recognisable. I had a very clear idea of what I wanted and Abbie was able to interpret that and turn it into a great logo. The feedback I have received off people I have shown it to is excellent and I am looking forward to launching it on Sudbury in the New Year. I couldn't recommend Abbie highly enough, she listened to me, my brief and the feedback I gave on the initial designs and I am delighted with the end result.

Abbie recently took over our website and re-designed some of the aspects to our site. It wasn't a straight forward job and at times became challenging. However, we worked well as a team and Abbie really persevered to get the results we were looking for. Abbie has shown her professionalism so many times. She's designed logos for us, given us advice which has proved invaluable and her last presentation at Expert Circles gave us all food for thought. I was recommended Abbie by a couple of friends to help me with my website. Today I met her in her office as a one to one meeting instead of the group workshop as the date didn't work for me and I now know why my friends recommended her! Abbie is brilliant, so knowledgable, very kind and patient, she answered all my questions and didn't make me feel like anything I asked was silly (even though some were very simple questions!). Polyspiral just designed a new business logo for us. I am blown away by the way they get down to the core of what the business does and come up with a logo, a simple logo that encapsulates the brand. In the past we have had logos designed and mix and matched fonts, colours, graphics and everything you could imagine until it was absolutely perfect! Well we are the Client from hell!
