Friendly, efficient and supportive
Maia met with me for the initial meeting for a will and a trust that I needed to set up. Lovely friendly meeting that was also professional, informative and helped me with all my options so I could make the right decisions for my family.

Emily got the job done.
She was helpful and chased the chain when we had issues with buyers at the bottom. We met in person when I went in to sign documents and she was very informative and courteous.
The only issue on occasion was that she was sometimes hard to get hold of. But we did connect in the end.

Responsive and reliable
Emily is very responsive and did the work required efficiently and competently. She is easy to talk to on the phone and gave me clear information about the progress of the sale.
She mostly replied to emails and always responded to calls to the office.
I would suggest that she is very busy and under a degree of pressure because although she always responded promptly to my queries eg has the licence arrived from East Suffolk, can we fill in the completion form now etc, she wasn’t proactive about these things until I queried them, so I felt, at times, that I was setting the pace of the procedure.

Made a Stressful Situation So Much Easier
My experience was extremely positive. Adrian was friendly, approachable, and genuinely felt like he was on my side throughout the whole process. Everything was explained clearly and at a pace that made me feel comfortable and confident in my decisions. It was such a refreshing change compared to other solicitors I’ve dealt with in the past. I appreciated his support and professionalism, it made what could have been a stressful situation feel straightforward and reassuring.

Great Experience with Megan
I only had one meeting with Megan so far, but I came away really impressed. She gave me real clarity on what had been a confusing process up until now. She explained everything in a way that made sense to me, and I felt reassured and comfortable straight away.
Megan has been great at communicating too. She followed up with an email after our meeting, covering everything we discussed, and whenever I’ve had questions she’s come back quickly with clear answers.
Overall, I can’t fault the experience. I’ve enjoyed working with her, and I feel confident continuing with Megan as my solicitor going forward.

Very professional, yet friendly experience
My husband and I reached out to AtkinsDelow for drawing our wills and they were absolutely amazing since the beginning of the process until the very end. Being a dual-national, they took extra time in explaining the implications and extra diligence that might be required to deal with any potential inheritance outside the UK. More than anything, we really appreciated how friendly and warm their approach was, it was the first time we ever had to think about several consequences surrounding what would be done when one of us passes, and their approach made it a little bit easier to think of those scenarios.

Property sale and purchase
Professional and, most importantly, accessible. One of the biggest complaints about solicitors is being able to get hold of them or being passed from one team member to another without someone taking overall responsibility. Not only did Emily answer the phone when I needed to know what was going on but also knew where we were in the transaction.

Conveyancing
The team at Atkins Dellow lived up their extremely high reputation when asked, at short notice, to close their searches etc on one property and switch to another. This was done seamlessly .. No fuss Extremely proficient. Always somebody to pick up the phone and answer a query. Thank you.

We got there!
Atkins and Dellow were always belpful and polite. The new receptionist at Halesworth was lovely. Dealing with two different people was a little difficult on occassion and some information was requested from us multiple times. Emma and Emily were efficient and always responded to my calls in a timely manner. We would like a paper copy of the new title deeds that register us as the legal owners of our new home. We appreciated the card that was sent after our successful move and the fact there was always someone at the end of the phone during some stressful moments.

Solicitors Dealing
We employed the solicitors Atkins & Dellow recommended by the Developer Bennett Homes from whom we bought a new bungalow at Lakenheath. We had good experience dealing with this Solicitors. In particular with Emily Istad who was assigned to deal with our conveyance matters. My wife and myself met Emily on two occasions at the Bury St Edmunds office to sign the paperwork and search report queries and concerns and legal advice and Emily provided advice and dealt with the Developer Solicitors on all our concerns in timely manner to the Final Completion on 24th September 2025.
