Would totally recommend, quote was spot on, explained what was needed and why and even showed me the old part to explain the need for replacement. Felt totally reassured all the way through. MOT found a fault and Tackwood quickly sourced the part, placed it and retested within 24 hours. Fantastic friendly service at a competitive price, Very happy.

An issue caused by a manufacturer recall repair (performed recently by the manufacturer) resulted in a failed MOT. Tackwood repaired this the MOT passed. They also provided very detailed information, including photos of the issue for me. The manufacturer garage (in St Ives) are now picking up the car at their expense to do a full investigation.

Car went in at 10am on Friday. Failed MOT. Rear pads and discs replaced without any issues and my vehicle was ready to collect by 4pm. Highly recommended

Tackwood service our minibus and we were looking to possibly expand its use for which we would require additional licences. I asked them for a quote for a vehicle test which they advised they did not have experience. They provided a detailed quote after researching the requirements, which were quite extensive and specific which enabled a decision to be made.
They were extremely helpful throughout and provided the quote within a reasonable time given the above and could not have done any more to assist and they justified our use of them.
