Katie was amazing!! She spent at least an hour looking at the potential site and offering advice. It was a very small build so it didn’t need drawings etc but she introduced me to a builder and was so helpful. I would highly recommend their services.

The service from Binney and sims was excellent. katie was happy to make changes to the drawings when I changed my mind. perfect advice when required and always listened to what I wanted from the plans for my extension. Drawings were completed exactly when required and made the build process much easier due to the clear dimensions and details.

We used Binney and Sims on a design and to submit our planning application for a kitchen extension and internal layout redesign of our home, including a garage conversion and construction of a new garage. Katie took our ideas and developed them and with Phil’s technical expertise produce exactly what we had imagined. The result being a really functional family home. We also used Binney and Sims to produce our structural engineering, and their advice and challenge to the planning authority was invaluable. Katie is an extremely personable individual, who bubbles over with enthusiasm and passion for turning the clients dreams into reality. I would highly recommend Binney and Sims Ltd. to anyone considering a home improvement project. Our house is a very unusual shape and we were having difficulty imaging building designs that would make the best use of the space available and give us the additional rooms that we needed. Katie and the team were extremely creative and offered a number of solutions that we had not even considered. I particularly liked how the team spent time listening to what we wanted to achieve and used this as the starting point for planning the proposed design rather than offering a standard 'off the shelf' approach to development. They also suggested some great ideas for the project that we didn't know about which would give the finished design a unique touch. The team offered an excellent level of service and expertise with a very human touch which is essential in planning your future home.

We used Binney and Sims Ltd to undertake a ground floor reconfiguration with the addition of a large extension on the back to generate an open plan kitchen dining area. We found them very knowledgeable and helpful in taking our simple goal and bringing it to life. From there they helped us refine the details to our liking and ultimately provided the necessary building drawings so this dream could be realised. We are extremely happy with the quality of service and the fixed price arrangement.

We are really happy with our new kitchen and utility, designed by katie from Binney and Sims. It has changed the house completely and the way we live as a family. Katie was great at explaining the steps and how the process would work, which was really useful for us as we had no idea where to start! We’ve been dealing with Binney and Sims for over a year now (a case of us changing our minds and budgets changing for our renovation) and Katie has been amazing. Re drawing plans and coming up with great ideas to meet our every changing needs - nothing has been too much trouble. They’ve guided us through every step in a process which can be quite daunting if you’ve not done it before and I’ve personally recommended them to two of our good friends who have also gone on to use their services and also been delighted. Having seen previous projects by Binney & Sims i knew this is who i needed to speak to, Katie has a flair for getting the best out of any project. Katie has designed individual new build houses to larger scale developments and has an eye for knowing how the accommodation should flow for the lifestyle of the intended occupier.
