Temporary closure – Ness Road, Shoeburyness

Ness Road in Shoeburyness will be temporarily closed for three days from Friday (29th June) to allow for essential resurfacing works.

During this period no vehicle will be permitted to enter, wait, load or unload in Ness Road between its junctions with the North Shoebury Road (Asda) and Elm Road roundabouts.

However, residents will be allowed to access the road for parking purposes between 8pm and 6am the following morning.

Although the works are scheduled to last three days the closure notice can be extended to five days to allow for unexpected delays and remedial works.

Whilst NESS ROAD is temporarily closed traffic will be directed to follow an alternative signed diversionary route.

Vehicles belonging to Essex Police, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance NHS Trust are exempt.
