Tackle the mega ‘It’s a Knockout’ challenge!

Could you gather an intrepid team from your family, friends or workmates?

If so, why not enter the fabulous - It’s a Knockout Challenge - at Southend Leisure & Tennis Centre on Saturday 28th July from 12pm to 4pm

Teams of up to ten people who are up for a laugh are needed for the event at the Centre at Garon Park, Eastern Avenue, Southend, SS2 4FA

It costs £250 per team to sign up – though the price may be negotiable if multiple teams are entered. Participants can compete in fancy dress if they wish – though this is optional – and there will be stalls selling drinks and food throughout the day.

Already Southend Radio presenters and staff from Southend Radio have risen to the challenge!

The activities included in the event use six, 50 foot long, three lane colourful shiny inflatable obstacles featuring games such as:

The Spring Board Challenge

Hurdle Hullabaloo

Cross Country Chaos

Dumbfounding Dumbbells

Freestyle Frenzy

Going For Gold.

The other two games are the horsey sumo-suit dressing up game Dressage Disaster and the 4x4x4 Relay.

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council’s Executive Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Councillor Derek Jarvis said: “This contest is great fun and is also the ultimate team building challenge for those who would like to put their staff through their paces. We hope as many teams as possible will not just enter the event, but enter into the spirit of it too.”
