Those who keep fit in Southend are being welcomed to a customer forum to share their views about the town’s leisure centres.

This takes place at 7pm on Thursday 4th October at Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre, Garon Park, off Eastern Avenue, Southend, in the bar area on the second floor.

The question-time style event is being staged by Parkwood Community Leisure which runs Southend’s four leisure centres on behalf of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council.

Centre Managers will give presentations, plans and progress reports for Southend Leisure & Tennis Centre, Chase Sports & Fitness Centre, Shoeburyness Leisure Centre and Belfairs Swim Centre.

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council’s Executive Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Councillor Derek Jarvis said: “Following on from our tremendous sporting summer, this forum is an excellent opportunity for people to offer their views and ideas about our leisure centres.

“They will also be able to hear directly from staff at Parkwood Community Leisure, about exciting plans for the future.

“It is very important to maintain a really good dialogue between customers and leisure staff so we can continue developing our centres in the best way possible.”

To register your attendance, please contact Matt Street on 01702 442919, or email: southendmarketing@parkwood-communityleisure.co.uk
