What a racquet – Sunday Badminton is half price at Chase Sports and Fitness Centre!
Non-members can book courts at the Centre in Prittlewell Chase, Westcliff, for a bargain £5.55 per 55-minute session any time on a Sunday between 9am and 10pm.
Customers could also use the Advantage Card, obtainable from Southend Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend.
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council’s Executive Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Councillor Derek Jarvis said: “Badminton is a fantastic way to keep fit, and is a fun and energetic game for friends and family,
“Chase Sports & Fitness Centre has a choice of six badminton courts. Four of these are in the main hall, and the remaining two courts are in the upper gymnasium.”
Rackets can also be hired with a £5 deposit and a hire charge of £1.75 per racket.
