I wanted to deal with a local broker but was transfered to a branch in shirley as the local branch doesn't deal with vans.I enquired about insuring my car at the local office but was transferred to another office who specialise in performance cars.I dont recall there location but they took the details asked if I was used to fast cars and never came back to me. safe to assume the performance car dept were not interested in offering insurance on a performance car. Not quite living up to its billing as the local insurance broker.Could get the same online for less.

I have been using A-Plan insurance increasingly over the past 3-4 years, initially for commercial vehicle cover, then my personal vehicles, followed by house and contents and public liability. I am consistantly reassured of their commitment to excellence, both in customer service and crucially the level and cost of insurance, every time I need to speak with them.

Initially I was very pleased with the customer experience and the policy was dealt with well and the agent was friendly and helpful. One of the reasons I took out the policy as well was they were offering a £50 M & S voucher which I was told would take about 2 weeks after the policy was taken. After documents were confirmed I waited about a month. I phoned and spoke to the agent and confirmed that we were entitled to it and would chase it up I explained that I wanted the voucher to use at Christmas which gave them 3 weeks. As yet this is still not received I have given opportunity to correct hence why I am now commenting on it. I find it very irritating when companies give offers and then its like trying to get blood out of a stone to get what was promised.
.......I have now received a very prompt response and courteous phone call to apologise and vouchers received next day by special delivery so am now really happy overall, happy to put a 5 star rating now all resolved.
