The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. They answered the phone right away without my having to try to converse with a chat bot or press a series of numbers. They are there to help customers who don't want the online/mobile experience. Such a pleasant change. So glad I found them.

1 Howden called me, following an enquiry from me a year ago. When I said I would be interested in a quote, they simply transferred me onto a phone queue, leading to an unplanned and unwanted interruption to my day.
2 Howden confirmed the purchase with a bland email pointing me at a mobile app in order to see what I'd bought, with not even a receipt. They ignored my request for an emailed receipt and policy documents, until I threatened to cancel the policy.
