I have insured mr car through A Plan for many years. Fortunately, I have not had to make a claim for a long time but, when I did the company ensured things went smoothly. My one niggle is that my premium renewal quote each year always rises significantly and I have to get quotes from other companies to negotiate it back down.

I am one of those people who who tend to stay with the same provider. However I have noticed that car insurance each year goes up. I was also surprised to find out that a claim against a separate insurance I have for cosmetic paintwork with a different supplier, appears on my current insurance arranged by A-Plan. I have come to the conclusion that it is better to pay cash up front for small things as insurance companies seem to penalize and indeed fleece people. When I have needed to contact A-plan I have found them helpful and efficient though. I just think the insurance industry in general can be a trifle unethical. It would be really nice to come across a system that is fairer. Next world perhaps!
