I have just secured some car insurance from Howden and I dealt with Max Payne. I can honestly say that in a world where customer service is almost exclusively handled by bots and computers, it was a pleasure to speak to a human being, who was helpful, efficient and polite. I would recommend Howden to anyone who still prefers human contact and has no time to waste on trying to reason with a computer. Excellent all round!

Easy to deal with but beware - any change to policy incurrs a £35 fee. Fortunately haven't had to claim - that's when you find out how good an insurance company is. Previous insurer was Aviva and changes are easy and free to do via online portal.
