My experience of Howden's Farnborough office over many years has been consistently very good. Customer service is excellent. You know that you can call and always be able to talk to somebody on the phone. All of the insurance consultants are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient, and James, who I most recently spoke to to renew both my car and home insurance, was no exception. On the occasions when I have needed to make a claim I have also received a high level of service. Thank you Howdens.

Hello
The conversation I had with your representative went OK on the whole.
However there are two issues of concern?
1. The representative mentioned European Travel and as I have no immediate plans to drive abroad? I mentioned I would contact Howden for temporary cover - however I note that is fully covered. Would it been cheaper without if only driving in the UK?
2. Card details where requested by the representative, in which I was happy to supply, however I wanted the transaction to take place on September 2nd. Your representative wanted to take payment immediately, and so was processed.

We had unusual requirement for building insurance at the crossover from new build development to occupation, with work still ongoing. As someone with knowledge of insurance, I was grateful for the application of Grace Thorpe at Harrogate to the task of aiding the underwriting process to the point that I was satisfied risks were addressed.
