I’ve recently taken out both home and car insurance through Howden. Alex was very helpful and easy to deal with throughout. He appeared totally ‘on it’. Of course the real proof will be if we need to make a claim but fingers crossed that won’t be necessary!

I have to say what an excellent company 1Howdon insurance is, but in particular, what an excellent advisor Luke Morley is... I needed urgent cover for a delivery driver and he's sorted it for me without any issue whatsoever. I would not hesitate to use these guys if you are needing a broker to take care of your business insurance.

The highlight of the day for me was two individuals, the first was the presentation 30/05/26 at 12 by a charismatic gentleman who gave us a guided tour and history of the farm, utterly charming. Secondly was a lady making butter who was also wonderful.
The grounds itself are picturesque without activities.
While it's not my sort of thing (I took my mum who hasn't been since my dad passed) I still found the hours we spent there therapeutic, and I can fully appreciate that places like this are of real value for generations of school visits to follow.
The food in the ex school house was a great place to stop for a bite and sparkling cordial in the sun ☀️

Freddy was absolutely fantastic - got everything sorted with the right cover at a decent price. Not the cheapest, but not a ton more than the compare sites and I'm much more re-assured about my cover having him deal with it.
