There are no vegan options identified on the menu but ask at the counter and they have vegan spread, vegan cheese, the bagette bread is vegan and there are often vegan options in the kitchen such as BBQ jackfruit. Staff helpful and supportive. Menu just need changing to make it obvious what is available.

Even if you're not a caravan owner, this is a great place to visit, or break your journey. Stock up with gas, BBQ gear, campsite supplies. Good stock of off-the-peg spare caravan keys. The large cafe has a dog-friendly area, choice of easy chairs/traditional tables and some children's activities. Decent coffee and cakes came quickly for us. Dedicated staff seemed to keep tables and floors clean. Toilets were spotless. The attached garden centre had plenty of interesting plants. We spent an informative half hour looking around new static caravans for sale. A pleasant surprise. Nicer than we'd imagined. The sales lady was sensible enough to leave us for a while before approaching. Not at all pushy. Very tempting. Ample parking, plus an attractive woodland walk, which can only improve as the trees mature.
