Hinckley & Rugby Building Society has sunk its claws into an unlikely alliance to launch its new savings account with nearby Twycross Zoo.

The Society was looking for a striking image to feature on its literature and posters for its new Premium Saver Easy Access Account and found the answer in the form of the zoo's most popular recent additions - snow leopards Irma and Suou.

The return for a donation towards the animals continued upkeep, Hinckley & Rugby have been given permission to use shots of the snow leopards in their latest promotion campaign.

Hinckley & Rugby Marketing and PR Manager Stewart Heeley explained: “For a number of years we have used images from the animal kingdom on literature for our savings accounts and these make eye-catching posters in the windows of our branches across Leicestershire and Warwickshire."

“With the launch of the Premium Saver account, which we believe will become very popular with both existing and new customers, we ‘spotted’ the chance to link up with Twycross Zoo in a unique partnership."

The Premium Saver Easy Account offers customers a good variable rate of interest on their savings in return for their agreement to make just one withdrawal per calendar month. The account currently pays 1.50% gross/AER and a monthly income option is also available, paying 1.49% gross (1.50% AER).
