Santa Claus is coming to town

Rugby Town Centre’s festive celebrations continue to gather momentum as Santa’s Grotto returns for another year.
Following the success of last year, Santa will be returning to St Andrews Church Rugby from Saturday 4th December and for every weekend in the run up to Christmas.

Residents, shoppers and visitors alike will be able to take the children to see
Santa in his exciting wonderland grotto and get a chance to let him know what they would like for Christmas this year.

Every Saturday from 10am-4pm starting from the 5th December St Andrew’s Church Rugby will be home to Santa’s Grotto.
It will also open on Friday 17th December and after church service on Sunday 19th, remaining open until Thursday 23rd December.
There will be a small charge for visiting Santa, which will be donated to both the Macmillan Nurses and Save the Children charities this year and every child who visits will also receive a small present.

“Santa’s Grotto is back once again in Rugby Town Centre as it has proved so successful over the last two years.
We are pleased to welcome it back and are looking forward to seeing what the grotto will look like this year,” explained Aftab Gaffar, Operations Director at Rugby BID.

“It will be a great treat for the children when they come into town and we also hope it will raise lots of money for the chosen charities this year.”

The Grotto will be run by the Rugby Rotary Club and The Inner Wheel Club and a small charge, which will be donated to the two chosen charities, will apply for visitors.
