‘BACK TO THE START’ – MEMBERS EVENING
Members of The Rugby Football Club are invited to Webb Ellis Road on Thursday night (December 1st) to hear Chairman Michael Aland’s vision of the future.
Having successfully launched ‘Back to the Start’, a global campaign designed to re-position Rugby as the town that gave the sport its name, to an audience of over 150 businesses last week, it is only right that the members, who are essential to his plan, are kept informed of developments.
Mr Aland feels that the town of Rugby has not got due recognition – or financial reward - for being the birthplace of the game.
He will tell his audience of the pressing need to put that right in a bid to regenerate his home town using the historical links to the sport that bears its name as the driving force.
The evening starts at 6.00pm with a complimentary drink and buffet and will be followed by a two-hour video presentation and a question and answer session.
