G-Force Martial Arts Students to represent England

They say that in sport as in business that cream always rises to the top and that is true at Rugby's premier Martial Arts Centre.

FIVE G-Force kickboxing students have been chosen to represent England in Canada later this year.

Rugby’s G-Force Centre is a Martial Arts centre for Excellence and it comes as no suprise  they will be testing their skills against the best in the world.

Gordon Burcham, the owner of G Force Martial Arts and British Champion 2012 in the men’s under 75kg is rightly proud of his students.

G-Force Martial Arts, based in Wood Street in Rugby, took 11 fighters to the WKC (World Kickboxing Council) British Championships 2012 held in Manchester on 5th February and came away with two British titles (gold), two silvers and two bronze medal.

Top honour went to Morgan Ansell who was crowned British Champion 2012 in the girls under 35kg.

Silvers were won in the Cadets 13-15yrs under 60kgs by Sam Bancroft and in the Veterans 42 years and over plus 85kgs by Adrian Marsh

In the Juniors 16-17yrs under 65kgs , Todd Williams won bronze as did Adrian Marsh in the Veterans 35years and over plus 85kgs.

All five fighters will be part of the England team at the WKC World Championships 2012 in Montreal, Canada later this year.
