Father's day is coming up next month and thebestof Rugby is on hand to help you arrange a day to remember for your dad.

Sunday 17th June is the date to remember, so time to have a think about what you might want to do?

Dads can be simple creatures to please sometimes, a trip to the pub can keep one happy for ages. Rugby has a fine selection of bars, pubs and restaurants for you to treat him with a meal and a drink or two.

Food is one of the traditional ways to ensure your Dad has a great Fathers Day. Here are some recommendations:

The Pheasant, at Withybrook, a top quality pub meal with a wonderful atmosphere.

The Fusion Restaurant at The Grosvenor Hotel:

Chill out on one of our comfy sofas with a complimentary newspaper, meet friends over one of our fabulous cocktails, watch the latest sporting events on Sky or impress family or business clients with a three course meal in our Brasserie.

or a bite to eat at The Carlton,

Serving traditional English cuisine with a French twist; cooked with flair and served with pride and, more often than not, a good bottle of wine as well!

and not forgetting: Vermillion,

opt to eat outside in Vermillion's stunning walled garden - whatever your decision you can be sure of a fantastic meal, whatever day of the week.

Whatever your budget and whatever your dad's taste, you're sure to find a local restaurant to suit both.

Whilst out for lunch or dinner you can give him memento of the day that he will want to keep forever.

Alternatively, if you want something a little more active this Father's Day (but only a little more) then you can try treating dad to a couple of games of bowling.

However you'd prefer to celebrate the day, you can do better than a simple card.
