Rugby First and Rugby Borough Council are to provide an early Christmas present to shoppers with free car parking in all council operated town centre car parks, for the whole of November and December, after 3:00 pm.
The scheme, is just one initiative, in the run up to Christmas, designed by Rugby First in partnership with Rugby Borough Council, to encourage people to shop local and support their town centre.
The free car parking applies to the following council owned town centre car parks after 3:00 pm in November and December (excludes on-street parking):-
North Street - John Barford – Westway - Evreux Way - Chestnut Fields
Little Church Street - Old Market Square - Newbold Road - Gas Street
Railway Terrace.
Please note: The John Barford multi-storey car park is currently locked from 7:00 pm to 8:00 am the following morning - Monday to Saturday. It is also locked all day onSundays and some bank holidays. Any vehicle which is not removed before the closing time at The John Barford Car Park cannot be released before 8:00 am on the next operating day
Free weekend car parking at Newbold Road car park will continue.
