The Richmond Bridge Boat Club (RBBC) promotes fixed-seat traditional rowing in the Richmond area. Membership is open to first timers and those with experience.

Club Membership

When you join our club you will get help with the skills needed to row a traditional fixed-seat boat. Membership of our sociable club is affordable and allows you to attend member events, participate in boat races, events and competitions including the Great River Race.

Rowing events

The Great River Race is the main fixed-seat rowing event that takes place every September. Other events include the Oxbridge Watermans Challange (part of the yearly Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race) and the Eel Pie Row in June.

Unique private venue

The clubhouse by Richmond Bridge is a focal point for rowers young and old and is also available to hire for functions and parties. It's an ideal choice if you want something a little different with a unique location under the arches by Richmond Bridge.
