The first purpose built community Fire Station in North Wales!
19th September 2008
... Comments

On Saturday 20th September 2008 the new community Fire Station, Coast Road, Rhyl will open it's doors to the local community for the very first time.

At a meeting in July 2007, Denbighshire County Council approved plans for the first purpose built facility of its kind in North Wales.

The new station will allow the Fire Service to develop partnerships with other local agencies and will have meeting rooms and office space available for use by the local community.

The open day is from 10.00am to 3.00pm and all are welcome to go along and have a look around, take part in the games or speak to the staff who are more than happy to offer advice and information.

For more information please visit the North Wales Fire and Rescue website.
