Free, Confidential Help When It’s Needed Most
The charity’s work is built around choice, safety and recovery. Through its helpline, Hope Service and Outreach Service, the team provides tailored support that can include emotional reassurance, safety planning, one-to-one guidance, advocacy, referrals and ongoing help from specialist domestic abuse practitioners. It’s not about pushing anyone into a decision before they’re ready. It’s about helping people understand their options, rebuild confidence and take the next step when it feels right.
Services include:

Alongside crisis and practical support, Hope Prevails Preston offers recovery-focused services designed to help people process their experiences and move forward. This includes specialist counselling, confidence-building programmes and group work such as recovery courses, Freedom Programme-style support and wellbeing sessions. These programmes give survivors a chance to reflect and connect with others in a safe setting, which can be incredibly powerful after abuse has left someone feeling isolated.
A Long-Standing Charity with a Fresh, Inclusive Vision

Its newer name reflects a more inclusive, survivor-shaped identity, but the heart of the charity remains the same: helping people affected by domestic abuse find safety, support and hope.
