I had the most brilliant experience with Fiona (Salon Owner) and Rhiannon (Apprentice) (hope I've spelt your name right sorry). From the moment I arrived I was welcomed with warmth and open arms, treated to a lovely coffee and biscuits and felt so at ease. It was so lovely to chat with Fiona about my hair and she gave such great advice on what to do and what would benefit my hair and scalp. I had the most lovely hair wash and head massage and cut and blow dry that I have ever had. My hair looks incredible and the cut and finish were superb. I also had my eyebrows waxed and they look fantastic. The welcome, service and experience were the best I have ever had from first moment to leaving and it honestly felt like I had a spa trip and mini holiday. I will definitely be coming back. Also just to note Fiona uses the Fresha online booking system and has great knowledge and awareness of additional needs clients may have such as sensory needs and neuro-divergent needs so definitely get in touch with her to discuss further if this is something you are looking for in a salon. Took my 12 yr old son for a last minute haircut and Fiona was fantastic. She explained everything to him about the way she was cutting his hair and how to style it.

I found fiona when my other hair dressers closed and was very wary about seeing anyone else but she reassured me that she would take care of me ! Which is an understatement, she showed me how to style my hair, what to use in my hair and how to keep it voluminous and healthy ! Couldn’t thank and recommend this salon more ☺️

Fiona is absolutely amazing. My little boy gets so upset and scared about having his haircut but she takes so much time, patience and care with him. Would definitely recommend.

Wow, if youre looking for a barber with tons of patience, whos very friendly and a home from home experience for your child who hates a hair cut....then this is your place! Shes very much of the opinion that the child's happiness comes 1st and its very important to her that your child becomes relaxed and goes at their own pace. Toys out, coffee made, plenty of chat. 10/10

I had a bad experience at another salon so wanted to try somewhere different. Fiona was so warm & welcoming. She took time at the start of my appointment to listen to what I wanted & the problems I’d been having with my hair. She then explained her plan & ensured I was happy with this beforehand. Her salon has a great vibe & atmosphere which left me feeling not only happy with my hair colour/cut but also brightened my mood too! Her assistant Rhianna was lovely & puts you at ease with her calm & professional manner. She also gives the best hair wash! I will definitely be returning thank you :)

Would highly recommend, been a few times now and always walk out so happy. Fiona listens to whatever it is I am asking for and always delivers, she takes pride in her work and has amazing communication throughout. Lovely touch at the end of an appointment where you get a personalised haircare prescription. So happy I found this place 10/10.

I finally found Davidson-Miller salon and I am so glad I did. Fiona listened to what I wanted and checked she had understood me throughout the appointment. Absoutley loved it here. Very welcoming, Fiona takes pride & 💯 committed to her job. She just doesn't cut or colour your hair but also follows up on aftercare and explains everything throughly to you. Well done on the award !! 👏 you definitely deserved it . Thank you 😊

My first time here and Fiona welcomed me and but me at ease straight away. Nothing was too much trouble and Fiona explained everything to me. I absolutely love my hair! The colour and cut was exactly what I needed, I feel like a new person. Thank you so much 😊

It was my first time at this salon and I was looking for a change. The salon is a really welcoming place and Fiona put me at my ease straight away. I am neurodiverse and Fiona has created a space where I felt I could unmask and be myself. She also helped my hair 'unmask' and I now have a haircut which is a lot more 'me'. I also got some great advice on ongoing care. It was really good value and I got tea and biscuits. I have already booked in a follow up appointment for a colour.
