My favourite time to be outside, is walking in the Woods in winter, on a cold but bright sunny day. I love to go Geo –caching, its a little treasure hunt every time, and great to do on your own, with friends or family (Oh and of course with your dog). I like to go foraging, finding fresh, edible plants to use when I get home. I’m not very experienced, and really only know that I can eat nettles and blackberries, so I take a foraging book for guidance. I hand make ceramic bird houses, and like to put them out in various places, including the Woods; and just hope they come in handy for the local birds.
