Folk On The Quay - Boasting an outstanding line-up of more than 25 acts across five stages, with fringe events at many local pubs and restaurants!
Saturday's headliners were Hat Fitz and Cara Robinson from Australia, five-piece folk-pop-indie Bonsai Pirates and BBC Young Folk Awards finalists and Jaywalkers – said to be one of the most exciting bands of the folk music scene.
“Poole offers such a great location for events and it’s wonderful to see artists with national and international reputations alongside our amazing home grown talent," said Bruce Grant-Braham, chairman of Poole Tourism Partnership.
Local bands included Djambo, Purbeck based Instant Karma, Wikkaman and eight-piece skiffle band Quinns Quinney, plus more than 25 dance groups and the chance to Ceilidh on the Quay.
Folk On The Quay is a fun-filled family event and is hoped to be seen by many locals again next year.
