Follow the children’s map through each of the five main themed gardens which have different wonders to explore. The grand Italian Garden has a large formal pond with fountains, statues and colourful bedding.
See the waterfalls in the natural Wooded Valley and visit the Bog Garden which is a haven for wildlife. Follow different paths and bridges across the Rock and Water Garden to enjoy a spectacular view across the harbour.
Walk through the Heather Garden which has a rare colony of Sand Lizards, to the World renowned authentic Japanese Garden which is full of vibrant colour in late spring.
Compton Acres allow free teacher’s planning visit and entry for teachers and helpers. Free maps and educational worksheets.
They also have a children’s play area.
Plenty of free coach parking and drivers receive a complimentary meal voucher to use in the café.
