Clinical hypnotherapy is the application of hypnotherapeutic techniques to help people recover from serious medical conditions.

Hypnosis is essentially a state of bodily relaxation and focussed mental attention.

Enabling people to relax, and to help themselves by using relaxation skills regularly, is a significant step towards reducing the painful effects of many chronic medical ailments.

When relaxed, and effectively in a hypnotic trance, therapeutic techniques such as imagery and self-suggestion can be surprisingly effective in speeding up healing processes, modifying pain, and generally complementing, in a very positive way, conventional medical procedures.

Hypnotherapy can be particularly effective in:

relieving the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome;

modifying painful conditions such as arthritis, migraine & chronic pain syndrome;

reducing and moderating blood pressure;

modifying the effects of auto-immune disorders.

Hypnotherapy is increasingly being recognized as having a part to play in the successful management of serious illnesses such as cancer, diabetes and M.E.

And any stress-related illness will benefit from hypnotherapy.

IF YOU SUFFER FROM ANY CHRONIC OR SERIOUS MEDICAL CONDITION IT WOULD DO NO HARM TO DISCOVER HOW HYPNOTHERAPY MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP YOU.  AN INITIAL HALF-HOUR CONSULTATION IS FREE.  YOU CAN THEN DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT YOU WANT TO PROCEED.
