As many of you will already know because that is all I have talked about for weeks, we (keep Wales Tidy) recently submitted a proposal to Tesco for their carrier bag levy in Wales. You will be pleased to hear that we have been successful in getting through to the last ‘Customer Vote’ stage.

So now we desperately need your help please in voting for us to win this last stage!

Please vote for us here at: http://tinyurl.com/votekwt

If we are successful, as part of Keep Wales Tidy’s ‘Bags of Opportunity’ Campaign we will give you, the Tesco customer, your carrier bag charge back by completing practical actions in the places you live and love!

We do so much more than litter prevention. Our mission is to encourage and support local action to protect and enhance our environment, contributing towards a sustainable future.

Choose us and we’ll engage one million people in one million actions to transform, clean-up and green-up our communities in Wales. We’ll bring people together creating healthier, safer, stronger and more prosperous environments.

For more information about what we do and to hear what our Ambassador, former rugby International, Tom Shanklin thinks visit;

Keep an eye on social media this week and next as well to see some of our supporters and friends getting behind us. If you would like to get involved too, please download the poster on the above webpage and copy us into your own selfies! We promise to try and retweet everyone!

Many thanks again for all your continued support
