People of Pontypridd lined the streets in town and waved their flags in support for The Welsh Guards today
Before seeing anything you'd hear the roar of the drums from the Band of The Welsh Guards, people in the crowd clapping, and the syncronised footsteps from the Guards.
A feeling of pride filled the atmosphere as they walked past and cheers could be heard from everyone, it was a proud moment.
The parade through the town follwed a service in Ynysangharad War Memorial Park as The Welsh Guards have been given the freedom of the county borough.
