Ponty's Big Weekend is back for another year on Sunday 20th July at Ynysangharad War Memorial Park in Pontypridd.
Each year acts perform live in stage infront of thousandas of people over the summer weekend, and now it's the turn of Union J, Sam Bailey - the latest X-Factor winner, Damage and Rough Copy.
Britain’s Got Talent’s Loveable Rogues and Tich will also take to the stage – alongside ‘soon-to-be-confirmed’ local talent - for one of the biggest concerts of the summer in South Wales.
Cllr Maureen Webber, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Council Business and Public Relations said: “Every year, we work with partners to secure the top names in the industry for Ponty’s Big Weekend because we want it to be a success, we want to boost the economy and we want everyone to have a wonderful time here in RCT.
“This year will be no exception and we are pleased to announce an exciting line-up that offers something for everyone, with a range of established and rising talents we are sure will bring the crowds to our county borough.
“Ponty’s Big Weekend 2014 will also be different to previous years as it is taking place on a Sunday, when, traditionally, it was Saturday.
“Of course, in the coming weeks, we will also be announcing the local groups, individuals and talented residents who will be taking the stage at Ponty’s Big Weekend alongside these top names, giving them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform at such an event.
“Ponty’s Big Weekend provides a massive boost to our local economy and businesses and allows us to showcase the beauty of our county borough to thousands of visitors from South Wales and beyond.”
