OMG! Cowboy Builders Channel 5 Comes to Pontypridd and Rhondda
Last week we saw the culmination of several years of torment to locals in the southern regions of Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Wednesday 22nd September at 8pm, 2010 on channel 5 we saw our very own Dave Sherwood of DMS Motors (the famous £20 MOT) overcome the challenges of being the victim of cowboy builder and alleged fraudster 'Neil Smart'.
Dave of DMS Motors was fleeced of £23,000 and was left with a SES Pit and sewage lining his garden and driveway for more than 3 years!! The effects of this were also elemental in the break down of family relationships.
Unfourtunately, Dom, the ex-con presenter who knows the ins and the outs of alleged criminal minds took upon himself to find this one Neil Smart - to only later find that he had fled the country!
The aftermath of such an event is a key learning point for any of us when we look for tried, trusted and reliable trademen and services in any form.
