So last week lesson went a lot better than before. Again Shane took me down the A470 towards Hawthorne. I still find it a bit nerve wracking coming off the slip road and trying to slow down safely but I'll get there. Shane took me the same route as before where we drove up past Hawthorne Leisure Centre and drove around Rhydfelin. Still need to practise my left reverse and other maneuvers but I'm slowly getting there.
This week lesson was smooth sailing with some rough patches. So instead of going towards Hawthorne and down the A470, Shane took me up towards Navigation park. I went over the left reverse again which took me about 3 tries until I finally got the hang of it. On the way back some of my usual gremlins came back where I'd either rush or forget to do certain things. Hopefully after a few more good lessons and getting the hang of the maneuvers I'll be able to do my test, which I will be booking next week.
