The Abercynon Paddling Pool, which is run by a voluntary group of people who have committed themselves to re-open the pool and has served the community for over 60 years. After all the hard work and fundraising the reformed paddling pool will be opening on Saturday 23rd July at their Abercynon Paddling Pool Hawaii Opening Day
The event will be on Saturday 23rd July (this weekend!) 1pm with FREE Entry, A Hawaiian afternoon with games, prizes, bouncy castle and mascots! Lots of yummy food
The committee say that: "We intend to keep this pool open so that the future generations can enjoy the same benefits enjoyed by previous generations. We are Grant aided and rely on donations and community help. Please join our committed team and help us make a better future for our children."
The pool will be open from 23rd July until the 29th August 2016 to the public free of charge.
You can go for a dip between noon – 6pm.
There will be pool attendants keeping watch over the pool area between these hours to make sure everyone is safe and there will be a sweet shop open with a variety of refreshments and healthy options for you to enjoy too!
