More than 35 businesses showed up for some wine and nibbles at our first networking eveing for business memebers on thebestof Bridgend.
Wine, nibbles and informal networking was the namke of the game - businesses had the chance to get to no other recommended local bridgend business in an open forum style of networking.
It's our belief that informal networking also has benefits to many business types and that this type of open forum business networking may lead to attending further groups such as BNI Bridgend at the Heralston Hotel every Thursday at 630am or 4Networking every other Tuesday at 8am at Pantruthyn Farm J35 M4.
Our guest speaker was Alan Hargreaves of Allguard Legal Services giving us some hints, tips and facts on the 'alternative exit strategy' AKA Wills and Powers of Attourney. Alans 10 minutes spotlight was an eye opener for many bridgend business owners in the room.
Our door prizes, the fruity boquet suppliyed by Jan Holmes of fruity bouquets in Brynmenyn went to Russel Davies of Lobster Web design and further prizes went to Brian Stokes of ITCS for their 160+ reviews gained in the 14 days of love making them the UK most recomended computer services business.
